You were right. This lollipop guide does not suck! I was able to make perfect lollipops on the first try.

Hey there sweet tooth! I’m Kim, head of all departments here at Hey Lolly.
I found candy making through caramel, or as I like to call it, the gateway candy. I was trying to perfect a caramel sauce recipe and I couldn’t help but discover the sweet, sticky, terrifying world of sugar. Before I knew it, I found myself with more sweets than I knew what to do with.
Caramels, taffy, lollipops, and cotton candy were filling my kitchen. So I joined the other local makers at my hometown Naramata Farmer’s Market and discovered that people like candy almost as much as I do.
Pretty soon I was getting requests to make lollies for birthday parties, trade shows and winery events, so I made the leap to a commercial kitchen at One14 Coffee Co in the Cannery Trade Centre in Penticton, BC. Although I still do custom orders, there is only one of me, so I’ve really started to focus my business on providing recipes and tips to the at-home candy maker. If I can figure it out, I know you can too! Check out my digital guides for a little inspiration!
